Maine’s Acadia National Park

Taormina, Jewel of Sicily

Sandwiched between the watchful eye of the “gentle” volcano Mt. Etna and cliffs overlooking the Ionian Sea, Taormina is, indeed, the jewel of Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. The flanks of Mt. Etna, with its hard-scrabble soil, produce some amazing wines. Add to these, the dramatic coasts, small cliffside villages, colorful fishing fleets, and Taormina itself, and you will have much to photograph. …
Romance of Tuscany

Paris & la Fête de la Musique

Summertime on the Maine Coast
July 28 – August 1
Maine is known for its dramatic rocky coast, raging surf, stark lighthouses, and charming fishing harbors. We’ll photograph in areas where Winslow Homer, Andy Wyeth, and other artists have painted for centuries. And we’ll head to two of our favorite fish shacks for the famous Maine lobster and other fresh seafood. The Barefoot Contessa grew up sailing this area and looks forward to introducing you to her special haunts …

Margo, Cathy and I are looking forward to our June workshops in Provence and Paris. If I can work another workshop into my school schedule, we’ll see you somewhere else too! I find you and Arnie to be so inspirational…and educational (…and fun, too!)
